Okay. Its been like almost a year since I've posted so I'm making this a private, personal website now. Forget the podcast or whatever it was that I did. No more of that. Here I think I'll post my photoshops and how-to's for photoediting cause I'm too lazy to get a new website for myself. Hopefully this blog will suffice.

Broken iPod

Hey dudes, There's gonna be a delay for the next couple of episodes. And I don't mean the one week delays I've been complaining about because of file errors. My iPod has been freezing up and the hard drive is jacked up so I need to send it in to Apple to have it fixed or replaced or whatever. That means I can't record that much stuff because most of our content is recorded onto my iPod using the iTalk microphone. I will be able to sneak in a couple of recordings from our computer and I have some content for episode 6 so expect maybe a few short clips for the next month. If you're absolutely bored out of your mind, go to music.podshow.com and listen to free sweet independent music online (no downloads). Or, here are the podcasts I'm tuned to:

According to the manager of the file hosting website, "We are in the midst of another server migration due toexcessive DOS attacks on our server. apologies for any inconvenience." Sorry for not posting for so long. But dang. The site we had been using previously to host our podcasts online, blipmedia.org, was acting strangely. I would say post this mp3 file and thirty minutes later it would say your podcast has been posted. Then I look in the 'list my podcasts' section to find the URL of the podcast so I can tell you guys and it isn't there. I did that three times for the same effect. Dang. So I spent the last couple of days searching around for a new free mp3 host. I'm not slacking, I do have episode 3 made and all the content for episode 4 on my computer. I'm thinking of using ourmedia.com. I dunno. TTYL

Yo. First day of school after Fall Break. Got so much recorded for the podcast. Yeah, so I'm gonna string together all that and insert the podsafe song and that's it. I'll post it up. Good stuff, man, this iTalk rocks. And everyone's like, "dude, that's pimp, man"... OK, not really, I don't know that many gansta's in school but you get the point. And expect posts from other ramblecasters later on, the other dudes you hear on the episodes: I'll just use their screennames, drkdrgn, bscbari1, and kellogs.

So, it's after school and for once I have no homework. 0, baby! I believe that's a first. Maybe because of fall break two days from now. Schweeeeet. So... I found a podcast hosting webiste, blipmedia.org. Free web hosting for files that isn't unorganized like putfile and stuff, but you actually have an account and whatnot. Now I just need to get that to the feed. Then we can create a podsafemusicnetwork.com account to get music, and once I convince my parents to buy me an iTalk soon (maybe this week[end] hopefully) we can get rollin'...

Hello thur... You are looking at the first post of ramblecast.blogspot.com, as you already probably know by now. This site is going to be the future site of the ramblecast, a podcast where a group of goofy teens talk about stuff. And listen to music. So, once I figure out how to get an XML file or RSS feed to publish a podcast, I can get music from www.podsafemusicnetwork.com so we can officially get this party started. That's all for now, gotta do my Pre-Calculus homework...

Yeah, finished all of my Pre-Calculus (doesn't mean I understand all of it) AND recorded all one minute and forty-five seconds or so worth of the first "episode"...OK, it's just my talking about what the podcast is gonna be and stuff, but it counts. Now I just need to find a RSS making-application and figure out how to post the RSS link on this site.
